About SereneGlade Knit School

Gentle knitting courses for mindful making—built by teachers who prize patience, clarity, and community warmth.

Our story

SereneGlade Knit School began as a small neighborhood circle where parents met to unwind and stitch a few rows between naps and homework. We grew into a premium online school without losing our original softness: quiet instruction, supportive feedback, and patterns that fit real lives.

  • 2018: The first living-room knit circle meets every Sunday.
  • 2019: Beginner scarf pathway launched; over 400 scarves finished.
  • 2021: Intermediate socks and shawls add advanced shaping and mindfulness breaks.
  • 2024: Full catalog with pathways for sweaters, baby knits, and cozy blankets.

Mission and values

Teaching approach

We break complex techniques into small motions, then add gentle repetitions. Each lesson includes a “calm checkpoint” where you pause, breathe, and check tension. If you miss a stitch, we show you how to rescue it without judgment.

Stepwise clarity

Cast-on to bind-off presented as friendly micro-steps.
